...the beginning

1949-1964

After the 2nd World War, Theresia and Heinrich Hofer taking care of the alpine hut "Innsbrucker Hütte".
From the year 1964 on the family also manages the alpine hut "Franz-Senn-Hü̈tte".

year 1966

Johanna, grown up on the alpine hut "Nürnberger Hü̈tte", and Josef Hofer are managing the Innsbrucker Hütte from now on. The parents of Josef are staying on the Franz-Senn Hütte.

year 1972

Construction of the „Sportpension Hofer“, which is first a boarding school and basecamp for the "Kneissl Ski-Racing Camp" in the summer month.
 

1977-1982

09th of December 1977: grand opening of the Hotel Stubaierhof.
In the year 1982 expansion of the hotel to 75 beds.

year 1996

Marlene and Franz are owner of the Innsbrucker Hütte from now on and are spending almost 4 month on 2.369 m above sealevel at the foot of the mountain "Habicht" every summer.

2007-present

All 3 generations of the families Egger & Hofer decide to enlarge the hotel Stubaierhof with high attention to quality and comfort.
